WHAT IS CE MARKING?
The European Community established that since February 1, 2010, all those windows and doors that are marketed must have the CE marking. It is a European distinctive that guarantees that those products that present it meet a certain minimum level of security to be able to be distributed in Europe.
All carpentry systems of CODEVAL They have the CE marking, as they are subjected to tests and reviews in order to verify that they comply with the requirements of the Standard UNE 14351-2: 2006 in reference to the resistance of the wind load, the capacity in the safety devices, the watertightness of the water, the permeability to air and dangerous substances, the thermal insulation and the acoustic attenuation.
INTRODUCTION TO THE STANDARD: UNE-EN 14351-1: 2006
The UNE-EN 14351-1: 2006 specifies the requirements that windows and exterior pedestrian doors that do not have fire resistance and / or smoke control must meet in order to have the CE marking. Depending on the use that is going to give them, these products must go through a series of tests stipulated in said standard. It also requires the establishment of factory production control and declarations of conformity for products.
